An idle game inspired by Cookie Clicker and our friend Josh's love of mushroom hunting. Players click on a mushroom to harvest them, and can purchase increasingly more expensive upgrades to help them harvest mushrooms automatically as their mushroom supply grows. A story is told through the items purchased, and the game has a definitive end once the final upgrade is bought.

Even in a fantasy where running your own successful business is as easy as spamming one button capitalism is still gonna go off the rails and destroy humanity. Really enjoyed this. It’s probably my favourite clicker game. It’s super simple but it doesn’t really need to be anything more than it is. The mushroom is cute, I like picking my company’s name and I like pressing buttons. As others have said it’s not very balanced with the upgrades but just spamming the one upgrade has its own charm in its mindless simplicity for me. My only nitpick is that it could use some music and/or sound effects to feel more satisfying

Finally got the ending!

My only problem is that production doenst get more efficient over time; most efficient cost/power is to just buy pigs foreve

That was my biggest issue with this as well, and something I feel like was improved a good deal in the follow-up title Fisherclicking (https://filthyandfree.itch.io/fisherclicking).

The end is at about 13mil mushrooms.
